1. Do people in your country celebrate Christmas?
It depends actually. I believe it’s the young who are more passionate about celebrating Christmas than the old are. But the true meaning of having Christmas has been totally distorted in this land. I mean, it is supposed to be a festival for family to get together, but Christmas in China has been commercialized in a way which merchants take advantages of this festival for sale and promotion.
2. What do other people in your country usually do on public holiday?
For those who get tired of staying at home, they may choose to go travelling and flock to those so called popular scenic sports for sightseeing. For other, they tend to enjoy their holiday simply by doing nothing or just cook a big meal and then invite their families or friends to come around.
3. Do you think public holiday are important?
As a matter of fact, yes. For businessmen, public holidays are great gimmicks for promotion and stimulate people’s factitious demand for buying things they don’t need. For ordinary people, public holiday means paid vacation or a good opportunity to keep their families accompany.
